Hi, friends! Things are finally starting to settle down a bit! I am so sorry for being gone so long! I've been super busy and sick-- all at the same time! Forgive me for my absence.
I finally received my new iPhone 4S in the mail the other day. I was like a kid on Christmas! For most of you, the iPhone is standard, but for me, a loyal Sprint customer, I am now able to use it on their network! I did, however, have the 3G a few years ago. It was a college graduation present from my brother--which also meant for a brief time I was an AT&T customer. Well, less than a month after I got my phone, the 3GS came out and I was left in the technological dark ages. Needless to say, after I moved to back to Branson, I needed a different phone carrier because at the time AT&T didn't have the best coverage here. I went back to Sprint and used their top of the line Android device instead.
But now I've finally caught up with the rest of the world... for the time being! It's a nice feeling. I love the updates and changes they've made to the iPhone. I've jumped from a 3G (over a 3GS and a 4) to a 4S! The speed, the camera... everything is so fancy schmancy! I love it!
The big kicker--are you ready for this?--is my Dad got one, too! It pained him to even tell me! You all must realize, my dad is a PC--just like the commercial. I'm talking dyed-in-the-wool PC. I remember him telling me as a child in the mid-90s to "NEVER buy a Mac!" Back then, PC was the dominant player in the industry. But now things have shifted, and it was time to get him on board with the rest of the world! He still has a PC laptop, but baby steps, y'all, baby steps.
The picture above is my brother, Andy, and his fiancée, Lauren, at Macy's in New York City! It was Lauren's 30th birthday last week, and he surprised her with a trip to the Big Apple! They were only there for a couple days, and can you believe it, they didn't see any shows because they were "too tired" from Christmas shopping? I know it's a tiring trip--BELIEVE ME!--but who goes to New York and not see any shows? Whatever.
Speaking of shows, our show runs for one more month, and then I'll be on hiatus through winter! I'm planning all my trips to see my friends and family! I hope everyone has a great weekend! Stay blessed!
